My parents have composite shingles on their roof that are at least 15 years old, if not older. They haven't had any leaks that we know of, but from the outside it looks like the shingles are old and starting to break down. My father thinks they're fine, but I would rather update it now rather than fix it and water damage. Can we simply replace the shingles? What cost are we looking at per square foot?
